About me
Hello! My name is Immanuella, and I’m excited to be your teacher! 🎉
I’m passionate about creating a learning space where curiosity is encouraged, questions are celebrated, and everyone feels confident to grow.
I believe learning should be fun, interactive, and meaningful, not boring or stressful. In my class, you’ll find a mix of creativity, clear explanations, and plenty of encouragement to help you do your best. I love seeing those “aha!” moments when something finally clicks.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring creative projects, learning new skills, and finding new ways to make lessons more engaging. I’m always excited to learn with my students, not just teach them.
I can’t wait to get to know you and start this learning journey together. Let’s make it a great one! ✨📚
Resume
As a teacher, I am passionate about helping students learn with confidence and curiosity. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they are supported, encouraged, and taught in a way that makes learning enjoyable and meaningful.
I strive to create a positive and inclusive classroom where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I focus on clear explanations, real-life examples, and engaging activities that help students truly understand, not just memorize.
I value respect, creativity, and effort, and I encourage my students to develop both academic skills and self-confidence. Seeing my students improve, discover their strengths, and enjoy learning is the most rewarding part of being a teacher.
My goal is not only to teach lessons, but to inspire a love for learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of the People. My academic background has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, which I apply daily in my teaching practice. This education supports my ability to plan structured lessons, manage classrooms effectively, and adapt to different learning needs.
Work Experience
I am an experienced English teacher with several years of teaching experience in international school and private tutoring settings in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I have taught learners ranging from toddlers to Grade 5, tailoring my teaching approach to suit different age groups and proficiency levels.
I worked as a YLP English Teacher (Grade 3–6) at CAM-ASEAN from May 2022 to July 2024, where I focused on developing students’ speaking confidence through discussions, presentations, and interactive activities. I also contributed to school life by organizing events such as Christmas and Halloween celebrations.
Previously, I taught as an English Teacher (Toddlers–Grade 3) at Little Bell International School, where I encouraged active speaking and listening while supporting students through consistent feedback and homework review.
I also served as a Kindergarten/Primary Teacher at Kids Castle School, designing engaging, interactive lessons for young learners and using group activities to promote communication and collaboration.
Alongside classroom teaching, I worked as a Private English Tutor from August 2020 to October 2023, providing personalized lessons for nursery and primary students. In this role, I helped students prepare for Cambridge English examinations, focusing on exam structure, language accuracy, fluency, and confidence-building.
